MY FIRST FULLY ASSEMBLED DESIGN- A DIRT BIKE

With references from Husqvarna and Kawasaki dirt bikes, I have designed this. Probably this is my first completely assembled design in Caita. Actually I made myself flexible with the Assembly module of Catia. It looks like a typical dirt bike, my friends said. I created parts and components separately and assembled it together. So I was supposed to understand the anatomy of a motorbike. And you cannot expect the design to be extremely professional. I admit, I am an amateur.

I TRIED DESIGNING AN AIRPLANE- NO MATERIALS APPLIED

Catia is the best software for Aero designs. Though I am highly interested in automobiles, the relationship of
Catia with the Aeronautics world and my under graduation in aeronautics provoked me to do an aircraft design. To be very honest, I felt extremely tougher to do this visually simpler design. Multi-section tool, the one tool, I used extensively to bring out fuselage, wings, rear stabilizers. And I almost failed to create a perfect structure. But it resembles an aircraft pretty good in this snap.

CRUISER BIKE

This is the design that created a lots of confidence in me to work on automobile designs. Actually I was learning Catia from a tutor at that time. And I had no idea about the Assembly Module of Catia. The result, this cruiser was designed with the accumulation of parts one after other in the parts module. And I later wondered, people call it as Top down Assembly.

CRUISER

I always admire Harley Davidson, Triumph and Suzuki Intruder. Orange County Choppers of America is another inspiration. So I thought of designing a cruiser. This one came out well. But I did a blender mistake in the design that the Engineering world cannot accept at all. I designed a 4 cylinder engine in-line, but I placed the cylinders just opposite to each other. After the design was completed I realized that. FYI, I am an Engineering graduate.

AN OLD MERCEDES BENZ E-CLASS

I thought I should design a car. So initially I was making solid boxes, cutting out some portions repeatedly. When I was in my initial works on this particular design, I asked myself why not a Mercedes. The uniqueness' of a Mercedes are its dial, grill, bonnet, and head lamps. I successfully designed them. So it resembled a Mercedes in the front view. But the side view, I spoiled it. It was no where related to a modern Mercedes. So here, I posted the one which is good in the front view and called it as an Old Mercedes Benz. Of course an E-Class variant.

SUPER CAR PERSPECTIVE VIEW

A fully solid super car design. I am not good in surface designing. So I always stick to solid designing in Part Module. This one was a good work during my early days with Catia. I took nearly 3 months to complete this simple design. I don't imagine how long one could take to design with design specifications.

THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT A CORVETTE

I was exploring the rendering option of CATIA. I just applied yellow for the body and brought a background for the pic. Initially I thought I was about to get a weird thing. I aligned the car's position over the path and clicked on RENDER. I got this nice output. I still believe this is my masterpiece. This is because many of my friends laughed at me when I said "this is just a car design and I did it".

SUPERCAR WITH GULL WING OPENED

A completely solid Super car design. Thanks to the rendering effect of CATIA.
